The SAP ABAP Development for HANA Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP applications and solutions on the SAP HANA platform. This role involves building high-performance data models, developing advanced business logic, and enhancing SAP applications using ABAP on HANA technologies. The specialist collaborates with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient SAP solutions aligned with organizational objectives. By leveraging expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP, the SAP ABAP Development for HANA Specialist plays a key role in improving application performance, streamlining business processes, and supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP applications using ABAP on HANA technologies.
• Develop and maintain CDS Views for reporting, analytics, and data modeling requirements.
• Create and manage AMDP procedures for high-performance database processing.
• Analyze technical and business requirements to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
• Optimize existing ABAP programs and database operations for SAP HANA performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders during development and implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP applications and HANA-based developments.
• Ensure coding standards, application security, and compliance with SAP best practices.
• Participate in system enhancements, migration projects, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support ongoing maintenance, performance tuning, and production support activities.

Core Skills Required:

ABAP on HANA: Strong understanding of SAP ABAP development optimized for SAP HANA architecture and performance enhancements.
