Guidewire Integration Specialist

The Guidewire Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions within Guidewire applications across insurance domain environments. This role involves building and managing integrations between Guidewire platforms and external enterprise systems using SOAP and REST web services, messaging frameworks, and Gosu-based customizations. The specialist collaborates with business analysts, developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data exchange, system interoperability, and scalable integration architecture aligned with business requirements. By leveraging expertise in Guidewire integration technologies and enterprise application connectivity, the Guidewire Integration Specialist plays a key role in enabling efficient business operations, improving system communication, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support integration solutions within Guidewire applications.
• Build and maintain SOAP and REST web service integrations with external enterprise systems.
• Develop integration components, workflows, and business logic using Gosu.
• Configure and manage messaging frameworks for asynchronous system communication.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to design scalable integration architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related production issues and system defects.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Participate in system enhancement, migration, and implementation activities.
• Ensure integration solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance standards.
• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and deployment support.

Core Skills Required:

SOAP: Strong understanding of SOAP web services, XML-based messaging, and enterprise application integrations.

REST: Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and services for system interoperability and data exchange.

Messaging: Hands-on experience in messaging frameworks, asynchronous communication, and integration patterns.

Gosu: Proficiency in developing custom business logic, integration components, and workflows using Gosu programming language.
