Description
The Guidewire ClaimCenter Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting claims management solutions using Guidewire ClaimCenter within insurance domain environments. This role involves configuring claims workflows, customizing business logic using Gosu, developing user interface components through PCF, and integrating ClaimCenter with external systems and web services. The specialist collaborates with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient claims processing solutions aligned with organizational and client requirements. By leveraging expertise in Guidewire technologies and insurance claims operations, the Guidewire ClaimCenter Specialist plays a key role in improving claims management efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and support claims management solutions using Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Develop and customize business rules, workflows, validations, and functionalities using Gosu.
- Configure and enhance user interface components using PCF.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using SOAP and REST web services.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues related to claims processing and application performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, and developers during development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Participate in system enhancement, migration, and implementation projects.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, defect fixing, and deployment activities.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Core Skills Required:
Guidewire ClaimCenter: Strong understanding of Guidewire ClaimCenter architecture, configuration, and claims management processes.
Gosu: Expertise in developing and customizing business logic, workflows, validations, and rules using Gosu programming language.
PCF (Page Configuration Framework): Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing Guidewire user interface components and screens.
Web Services: Strong knowledge of SOAP/REST web services, integrations, and communication between enterprise applications.
