Guidewire BillingCenter Specialist

The Guidewire BillingCenter Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting billing and payment solutions using Guidewire BillingCenter within insurance domain environments. This role involves configuring billing workflows, customizing business logic using Gosu, developing user interface components through PCF, and integrating BillingCenter with external systems and enterprise applications. The specialist collaborates with business analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient billing solutions aligned with organizational and client requirements. By leveraging expertise in Guidewire technologies and insurance billing processes, the Guidewire BillingCenter Specialist plays a key role in improving operational efficiency, streamlining policy billing operations, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and support billing solutions using Guidewire BillingCenter.
• Develop and customize business rules, workflows, and functionalities using Gosu.
• Configure and enhance user interface components using PCF.
• Integrate BillingCenter with external applications, payment gateways, and third-party systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues related to billing and policy operations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, and developers during development and deployment cycles.
• Participate in system enhancement, migration, and implementation projects.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.

Core Skills Required:

Guidewire BillingCenter: Strong understanding of Guidewire BillingCenter architecture, configuration, and billing process management.

Gosu: Expertise in developing and customizing business logic, rules, and workflows using Gosu programming language.

PCF (Page Configuration Framework): Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing Guidewire user interface components and screens.

Integration: Strong knowledge of integrating BillingCenter with external systems, APIs, and enterprise applications.
