Description
We are seeking experienced Cybercrime Investigators to support critical investigations into abuse and financial crime. Candidates should have a strong background in fraud analytics, cyber investigations, and OSINT (open-source intelligence). This role demands a detail-oriented mindset, investigative rigor, and exceptional report-writing skills to document findings clearly for executive-level consumption.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct independent investigations into abuse patterns, fraud activity, and financial crimes.
- Use OSINT techniques and commonly available tools to identify abuse vectors, bad actor archetypes, and TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures).
- Analyze data trends and produce structured reports with actionable insights.
- Deliver high-quality updates and findings to project managers and leadership teams.
- Maintain data sensitivity and confidentiality throughout all investigative processes.
- Collaborate with teams to continuously enhance investigative methodology and reporting standards.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cybercrime, abuse, or fraud investigations.
- Bachelor’s degree from a government-recognized university.
- Strong written and verbal communication, especially in structured executive reporting.
- Proven critical thinking and independent research capabilities.
- Experience with fraud analytics, OSINT, and abuse investigative tools.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Prior experience with public/corporate databases and registries.
