Data Platform Developer

We are seeking a Data Platform Developer (AVP level) to join cutting-edge technology team, playing a pivotal role in delivering location strategy projects and advancing our data platform capabilities. The ideal candidate will drive innovation in digital services, leveraging advanced AWS and Big Data technologies to build scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines that power enterprise-wide insights and customer solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy robust data solutions using AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Build scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark and AWS analytics tools.
• Apply secure coding practices, develop test-driven code, and follow CI/CD principles using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define data requirements and ensure seamless platform integration.
• Provide technical mentorship, participate in code reviews, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and performance best practices.
• Engage in complex system analysis and contribute to strategic decisions across teams.

• 5–8+ years of hands-on development experience, preferably in Python.
• Strong expertise in AWS services (Lambda, Glue, S3, Redshift, IAM, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation).
• Experience in building Big Data solutions and working with streaming tools like Kafka, MSK, or Kinesis.
• Familiarity with data formats like JSON, Avro, Iceberg and Big Data frameworks like Apache Spark.
• Background in financial services and working knowledge of reference/market data domains.
• Strong problem-solving skills, agile mindset, and experience mentoring junior team members.
